Metro Solar, Inc. was founded in 1982 by David G. Woycio, who is still actively involved with the company as president.

David started out as a service manager responsible for around 400 clients. After working for several solar companies in the metro area and attending solar thermal college courses, he decided to start his own company.

Designing, installing, and servicing solar heating systems is what he has done for the last 24 years. This experience gave him a keen insight as to what type of systems work best in our changing Colorado climate.

Mr. Woycio has passed that experience off to our trained technicians in the field.

Although Metro Solar, Inc. is a small company, we have worked very hard to become one of the most experienced solar thermal heating companies in the state.
