Indiana Michigan Power - EV Incentive

Indiana Michigan Power offers incentives to residential, small commercial and commercial/industrial/multifamily customers to install electric vehicle charging stations. Basic descriptions of these incentives can be found below.

Residential

$500 for joining the program. I&M’s incentive helps offset the cost to set up or retrofit your current charger configuration to measure off peak PEV charging. PEV charging from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am daily will be discounted 45% from our standard residential per kWh rate.

Small Commercial

Existing small-commercial customers who average less than 4,500 kWh per month are eligible for a $500 incentive and a discounted off-peak rate up to

HELPS EV Charger Program (offered by 9 utilities)

Home Energy Loss Prevention Services (HELPS) offers an incentive program for electric vehicle (EV) chargers. This program is offered through nine utilities: Chicopee Electric Light, Groton Electric Light Department, Hull Municipal Light Plant, Marblehead Municipal Light Department, Princeton Municipal Light Department, Shrewsbury Electric and Cable Operations, Sterling Municipal Light Department, Wakefield Municipal Gas and Light Department, and West Boylston Municipal Light Plant. Incentives are based on the size of the battery and range from $200-$300 (for Groton Electric Light Department, incentives can go up to $400). For more information, visit the program website.

Eversource - EV home Charger Demand Response Program

By enrolling their home electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Eversource's ConnectedSolutions demand response program, residential customers are eligible to receive a rebate of up to $300. Potomac Edison - EV Driven Program

Potomac Edison offers rebates for Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers through its EV driven program. Residential customers can get a $300 rebate on Level 2 EV smart chargers. PEPCO - EVsmart

PEPCO offers rebates for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) through the EVsmart program. PEPCO offers a $300 rebate to residential customers who install a Level 2 smart charger at their home. The company also offers a 50% discount for the purchase of Level 2 smart chargers and a 100% discount for the installation of Level 2 smart chargers for multifamily customers, up to $15,000.
