The Light-Duty Motor Vehicle Purchase or Lease Incentive Program (LDPLIP) provides rebates across the state to people who purchase or lease new light-duty motor vehicles powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (propane), or other electric drive (such as plug-in or plug-in hybrid), along with conversion systems for compressed natural gas or propane. Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program

*The program will open from April 3 - June 3, 2024. Vehicles must be purchased/leased during this time; the program will close as of June 4, 2024. Applicants have six months from the date of purchase/lease to apply for rebates. Once funds are depleted, eligible applicants will be put on a waitlist for 2025. Low- and moderate-income households can prequalify for the Charge Ahead rebate by completing this application.

Clean-Burning Motor Vehicle Fuel Property Tax Credit - Personal

The State of Oklahoma allows one-time income tax credits for qualified clean-burning motor fuel vehicle property or qualified electric motor vehicle property. These tax credits apply to tax years beginning before December 31, 2027. Some of these tax credits apply to equipment that is installed to modify a motor vehicle so that it is propelled by compressed natural gas, liquefied gas, or liquefied petroleum gas. These credits also apply to motor vehicles originally equipped to be propelled by these means. These credits are vary based on the vehicle's weight and are as follows:

Below 6,000 lbs: $5,500

6,001-10,000 lbs: $9,000

Green Pass Discount

The New York Thruway Authority offers a special 10% discount on E-ZPasses for Hybrid vehicles that get at least 45 miles to the gallon. Eligible vehicles must be certified to the California Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) standard for vehicles of model year 2005 or later. Vehicles from pre-model year 2005 must be certified  to the California Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) standard.

As of February 2022, the Green Discount Plan is only available to plug-in electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. A list of eligible vehicles can be found here.

Green Pass Discount
