Solar Santa says: Get a solar charging table
Long after Solar Santa’s done delivering solar-powered toys to good girls and boys, he’ll be lounging on the deck at an undisclosed location on an equatorial island.
While there he’ll have limited access to electricity. But that won’t be too big a deal thanks to his SunTable.
The table’s surface is a PV panel that can be positioned to get the best sunlight. It features a battery that charges in about four hours and that can power a laptop, TV or other device for about four hours. Santa will use his to listen to tunes on his boombox while in between dips in the ocean.
It’d make a great addition at a remote cabin. The table can be ordered from http://suntable.net. It costs about $2,000, according to The New York Times.
