Recently we were able to review and evaluate the BLUETTI AC60/P Portable Power Station of the 600W 403/504Wh flavor. This tyoe of power station can completely transform your outdoor adventures and emergency preparedness due to a great combination of power and portability.
First and foremost, the AC60/P is incredibly easy to use. The intuitive interface and clear instructions make it a breeze to set up and operate. I appreciate that it comes with multiple charging options, including solar panels, car chargers, and traditional outlets, providing flexibility no matter where you might be. While we did not have the chance to test the optional 120W solar kit charging option you can see how that can just be next level of grid freedom and flexibility.
One of the standout features of this power station is its impressive battery capacity. It packs a punch with 60,000mAh, which means it can power multiple devices simultaneously for extended periods. Whether camping, hosting a backyard barbecue, or facing a power outage, the AC60/P keeps essential electronics running, from phones and laptops to lights and small appliances. By default it will not run such devices that require a lot of power like a hair dryer but you can boost the output manually which will drain the battery faster. This is called the Power Lifing Mode and requires holding the AC power button for two seconds after putting the unit in Setting mode. Alternatively you could use the available Bluetti phone app to do that directly.
One aspect we tested frequently was power loss over time. This is the kind of device you want to be able to put away and come back to after some time and have it ready to go. We recorded after about 4 weeks of non-use a loss of about 10% of its charge (from 100%-90%). The loss slowed over time so we suspect over many months the rate of loss to decrease. Imagine losing power in middle on Winter after a full charge in the Fall and having a good 50% battery ready to go.
The build quality of the AC60/P is also top-notch. It feels robust and durable, ready to withstand the rigors of outdoor adventures. The compact and portable design makes it easy to carry, and the built-in handle is a thoughtful addition. The light built into the back is a nice touch as is the wireless charge pad on the top of the unit.
Lastly, BLUETTI's customer service deserves a special mention. They are responsive and genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction, which is reassuring when making an investment in a product like this. They have a decent worldwide footprint for support. This is not a no-name foreign outfit with no recourse in case of issues. And did we mention the 6 year warranty?
In conclusion, the BLUETTI AC60/P Portable Power Station has exceeded my expectations in every way. Its reliability, versatility, and eco-conscious design make it a must-have for anyone who values power on the go or during emergencies.
