Founded in 1998, Independent Energy Solutions, Inc. (IES) is a leading provider of renewable energy and solar electric (photovoltaic) systems.

From our start with only 2 employees, we have since grown to over 50 employees including a full-service in-house engineering and design team plus our own full-time construction and installation crews. As a pioneer in the solar industry, IES has become known for its high-level technical expertise and innovative, cost-effective solutions to even the most challenging installations.

Located in Vista, California (north San Diego County), IES provides design, build, procurement, project management, logistics, training and maintenance services to a broad spectrum of customers including commercial, military, public agencies, nonprofit and education.
