Don and Cynthia Loweburg established Offline Solar in 1982. Since then Offline Solar has installed over 1,000 on and off-grid solar systems throughout the Sierra and Central Valley.

Don Loweburg is considered a solar pioneer in Central California. As owner of Offline Solar, Don designs and oversees all aspects of the business. He is highly respected within the industry and has been on the boards of the California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA) and the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Don also holds a Masters in Physics from California State University at Fresno and has written numerous columns and articles for Home Power Magazine. And Don reads poetry. Dale Livesey has been working with Offline Solar since 1997 as the Installation Manager. A licensed electrical contractor (C-10) for the past ten years, Dale is currently working on his North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners membership. The skills and knowledge Dale has gained over the years insures a lasting, trouble free installation. Dale has a well rounded work history having careers from master scuba-dive trainer in the Cayman Islands to Captain and announcer of the Bass Lake Queen. Dale is the wild side of Offline and for that we love him.
