COSEIA solar industry expo packs them in
By Feb. 3, COSEIA had run out of room at its 2011 Solar Power Colorado conference. That’s nearly a week in advance.
The conference, Colorado's largest business-to-business solar industry event, taking place Feb. 9 – 11 in Loveland, Colo., is breaking its previous attendance record by almost 30 percent, according to Neal Lurie, COSEIA’s executive director.
Lurie said that about 500 attendees—composed of solar companies, investors, and members of the public—registered for the conference.
Today is the first day of the three-day-long event, but it’s also the slowest, dedicated almost entirely to a five-and-a-half-hour-long workshop, led by OnGrid Solar CEO Andy Black.
Tomorrow, the big panel discussions get underway.
Solar industry leaders in the state will talk about where the market is heading, and what challenges are on the horizon.
So visit us tomorrow for another update.
