The program specifically provides funding for high performing, energy efficient, and resilient homes and structures. The grants and loans can be used to fund installation of high-efficiency heat pumps, renewable energy generation, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging stations. The money can also be used for products to achieve advanced energy certifications from federal programs and to brings buildings up-to-date with the most recent energy building code.
