About

SolarTech prepares individuals for careers working in the Solar Power industry. SolarTech trainees learn the skills to prepare them for positions building, installing, operating and maintaining Solar systems for utility-scale, commercial and residential applications. Trainees learn the basic of Solar Photovoltaics, Solar Electronics and Troubleshooting, Safety, Specialized Tools of the Trade. Trainees will be prepared to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) entry-level examination and earn a certificate.

SolarTech Training is held in the Kern Community College District.

The next training classes will be listed on the Clean Energy Center home page and at the top of this Solar Sales page on the The Clean Energy Center web site. But, there is a process in being added to the training program, so just don't sit there! You must contact The Clean Energy Center during business hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm, at 661.336.5058. This is NO COST training for those who qualify.

SolarTech training is held in Bakersfield,California in the Kern Community College District College Weill Institute at 2100 Chester Avenue, the Delano Bakersfield College Campus and Porterville College, when scheduled. Locations in Tulare and Kern County in the Kern Community College District.
