Sun Club fosters greener communities by funding sustainability projects for nonprofits across the country. Through customer, employee and company donations, we support initiatives focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency, resource conservation, clean transportation, sustainable agriculture and environmental education and awareness.

Since 2002, Green Mountain Energy Sun Club has provided a tangible way for individuals to take action beyond using renewable energy. As the nation's longest-serving renewable energy retailer, Green Mountain Energy is dedicated to lighting the future with hope for a cleaner planet. Sun Club allows customers, employees and the broader community to directly support this mission.

Since its inception in 2002, Sun Club has made a positive impact on the planet through its commitment to sustainability. To date, Sun Club has donated over $14 million to 164 projects across Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, Oregon, Illinois and Massachusetts.

These initiatives have yielded remarkable environmental benefits, including generating over 25 million kWh of solar energy, avoiding 40 million pounds of CO2 emissions, capturing 20 million gallons of rainwater and growing 369,200 pounds of produce.

With a focus on renewable energy, energy efficiency, resource conservation, clean transportation, sustainable agriculture and education, Sun Club continues to empower organizations working toward a more sustainable future.
