Independent Power, founded in 2000, is owned and operated by Rick and Helen Thibodeau. Rick is our technical expert. He has over 25 years experience in the construction field with an emphasis on electrical, solar power and heating. Rick is a licensed master electrician with limited licenses in plumbing, heating and propane.

He attends all dealer training at the Central Boiler® factory where he gains valuable knowledge in service, installation, sales and product updates. Rick has trained with Solar Energy International and regularly attends the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, the largest renewable energy education event in the world. You’ll find it beneficial to sit down with Rick and discuss your energy options.

Helen has many years of retail and management experience. She handles all of the marketing and administrative duties at Independent Power. Rick Thibodeau received the award during the 2010 Central Boiler Dealer convention held in Fort Wayne, Indiana. More than 500 dealers and guests were present.
