Ocala Utility Services - Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Ocala Utility Services Electric and Telecommunications is a community owned utility that serves around 50,000 customers in Ocala and Marion County area. Ocala Utility Services offers rebates on A/C and heat pumps, refrigerators and freezers, dishwashers, clothes washers, and insulation.

Corn Belt Energy Coop - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Corn Belt Energy Corporation (CBEC), in association with the Wabash Valley Power Association, provides its customers various energy efficiency rebates. Customers of Corn Belt Energy can receive rebates for geothermal and air-source heat pumps as well as heat pump water heaters. Rock Hill Utilities - Water Heater and Heat Pump Rebate Program

Through the SmartChoice program, Rock Hill Utilities offers rebates for water heater and heat pump replacements. Information on financing for heat pumps can also be found on the web site listed above. 

Customers who qualify as all-electric may be eligible for the Great Rate program. The Great Rate program qualifies the customer for a discount of up to 4 cents per kWh. To qualify for the Great Rate program, the water heater must be equipped with a Smart Switch and a minimum 16 SEER. This controls the flow of electricity to the heater during peak periods of demand. Bandera Electric Cooperative - Residential Heat Pump Rebate Program

Note: This program has limited funding. Once funds are depleted the program will close for the year.

The Bandera Electric Cooperative offers a $200 rebate for the installation of a 15 SEER or higher heat pumps in existing homes. This program is designed to promote energy efficiency in existing homes and to reduce demand for electricity. Rebates will be applied as a credit to participating members' accounts. Peninsula Light Company - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Peninsula Light Company offers a rebate program for residential customers who want to install energy efficient products in homes. Rebates are provided for heat pump water heaters, heat pumps, duct sealing, and ductless heat pumps. Completed applications should be emailed to [email protected]. City of Tallahassee Utilities - Efficiency Loans

The City of Tallahassee Utilities offers loans with an interest rate of 5% for more than 25 different energy-saving measures. Under this program, residential and commercial customers may borrow up to $10,000 for varying energy efficiency measures. For Solar Photovoltaics or ENERGY STAR roofing, the maximum loan amount is $20,000 so long as no other loan measures are bundled with these. For detailed information contact the utility.

Clallam County PUD - Residential Efficiency Rebate Program

Clallam County PUD offers a variety of rebates for residential customers for energy efficiency improvements. Eligible measures and incentives include window upgrades, insulation, air and duct sealing, heat pumps, and high efficiency water heaters. All incentives must be approved by the PUD prior to installation and must be installed by a participating PUD-approved contractor. Qualified Energy Property Tax Exemption for Projects 250 kW or Less

Note: According to the Ohio Development Services Agency website, the owner or lessee subject to the sale-leaseback transaction must apply to Development Services Agency on or before December 31, 2024, to qualify for this tax credit.

Ohio's Renewable and Advanced Energy Project Property Tax Exemption, enacted with the passage of Ohio S.B. 232 in the summer of 2010, exempts qualified energy projects in Ohio from public utility tangible personal property taxes and real property taxes.

Per Ohio Revision Code 5709.53, qualified energy systems of 250 kilowatts (kW) or less will not be subject to payment in lieu of property tax
