Large Electric Consumer Public Purpose Program (LECPPP)


Oregon's 1999 electric-utility restructuring legislation (SB 1149) required Pacific Power and Portland General Electric (PGE) to collect a 3% public purpose charge from their customers to support renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Large electric consumers may be eligible to direct a portion of their public purpose charge for conservation projects and renewable energy resources on qualified sites.

Corn Belt Power Cooperative Rebate Program

Corn Belt Power Cooperative is a generation and transmission electric cooperative that provides power to nine distribution rural electric cooperatives and one municipal electric cooperative. These utilities provide power to farms, rural residences, small towns and commercial/industrial customers in 41 northern Iowa counties.

The member cooperatives of Corn Belt Power Cooperative have established energy efficiency rebate programs to encourage greater efficiency in members' homes, farms, and businesses. VirginiaSAVES Green Community Loan Program

The VirginiaSAVES Green Community Program provides low cost financing to private commercial and industrial, non-profits, and local governments to fund a wide range of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the State. The program works with third-party funding sources to provide financing for projects. The program is administered by CleanSource Capital, LLC under the guidance of Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals, and Energy (DMME).

Interested applicants must submit a summary worksheet that describes the project, including measures being funded, vendors involved, and energy assessment. After meeting the eligibility requirements, the borrower can submit a formal application along with an application fee

EZ Investment Tax Credit Refund for Renewable Energy Projects

Cleco- Power Wise™ Residential Program

Cleco's Power Wise™ Residential Program provides a number of incentives to its residential customers for energy efficiency upgrades.

This program allows homeowners to make energy efficiency improvements tailored to each home's energy needs. In order to participate the homeowner must contact a contractor participating in the program. A list of participating contractors is available in the program website. The contractor will submit a bid proposal and a rebate application for the program. The rebates will be included as a discount on the invoice.

Renewable Energy Program Grants

The Michigan Energy Office (MEO), within the Michigan Agency for Energy (MAE), provides funding for renewable energy activities on a recurring basis, subject to availability of funds. Eligible projects may include activities such as providing education/outreach and technical assistance to communities and businesses on renewable energy topics, feasibility studies, demonstrations of commercially available renewable energy technologies, and/or other activities that promote renewable energy as an affordable, reliable, adaptable, and environmentally protective energy solution. AEP (SWEPCO) - Efficient Products Rebates Program

Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) as part of its Efficient Products Rebates Program offers various rebates and incentives for its residential customers to install energy saving measures. Appalachian Power (Electric)- Residential Energy Efficiency Programs

Appalachian Power offers a variety of rebates to its residential customers for the installation of energy efficient measures. These include an appliance recycling program, the Bring Your Own Thermostat Program, and the Residential Peak Reduction Program, which offers incentives for reducing energy consumption during peak times. Additionally, Appalachian Power provides a Low-Income Weatherization program for families with total annual household income at or below 60% of the state median income. Washington Gas - Residential Rebate Program

Washington Gas, as a part of the Maryland EmPOWER program, offers incentives to its residential customer for making energy efficiency improvements. Rebates are available for qualifying water heaters and furnaces. Washington Gas also offers rebates for tune-ups of boilers, fire places, and furnaces.

In addition to appliance and furnace rebates, Washington Gas offers a Smart Energy Rewards thermostat demand response program. Customers with natural gas heating and qualifying wi-fi enabled thermostats can enroll in the program and receive a $20 gift card, plus an additional $10 gift card on each anniversary of enrollment.

NJ Clean Energy- Residential New Construction Program

New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program offers the Residential New Construction Program to incentivize the construction of new homes that meet standards for the following: IECC 2015, EPA ENERGY STAR Certified New Homes, Multifamily High-Rise and the DOE Zero Energy Ready Home Program. The program provides a range of financial incentives depending on the energy efficiency of the homes. Both single family and multifamily buildings are eligible for the program.
