Arkansas Oklahoma Gas (AOG) provides financial incentives to its residential and small commercial customers for both existing and new construction homes and small business whose primary fuel for heating is natural gas. Incentives for dealers/installers are available for specific equipments. Application along with necessary documents must be submitted to the rebate center within 90 days of installation date or before December 31. Rebate checks will be mailed within 4-6 weeks after completion. 

AOG also a part of a statewide joint weatherization program. The program helps to promote energy efficiency in low income single family residential customers. Incentives are available

Cape Light Compact (CLC) offers a variety of financial incentives to customers for purchasing energy efficient residential equipment. Residential customers can take advantage of incentives on weatherization measures, solar water heaters, central AC systems, heat pumps, oil and propane heating equipment, refrigerators, freezers, and other home appliances. Installation of a central AC systems and heat pumps must be performed by a pre-approved contractor, who will provide the rebate form. Instant rebates for certain appliances are also available at participating retailers.

CLC also offers home energy assessments, which include free energy efficient light bulbs, free air sealing, and 75-100% of the

Residential and Non-residential Customer applications for solar rebates have reached the 2019 program capacity limit. All additional Residential and Non-residential Customer applicants will be placed on the rebates waiting list.

Duke Energy's Solar Rebate Program, a part of Duke Energy's voluntary Distributed Energy Resource Program, was approved by an order issued on July 15, 2015. This program is offered by both Duke Energy Progress and Duke Energy Carolinas.

Duke Energy Carolinas' Customer Scale Solar Rebate Program, a part of Duke Energy's voluntary Distributed Energy Resource Program,  was approved by an order issued on July 15, 2015.

Program Details

Duke Energy Carolinas will offer a rebate of $1.00 per DC watt for residential customers and nonresidential customers. Rebates are limited to 40 megawatts (MW), with 30 MW for distributed systems under 2 MW and 10 MW for systems under 20 kilowatts (kW). At the customer's discretion, the rebate may be claimed by the customer or applied to companies installing or leasing systems.

In 2012, the Federated States of Micronesia (Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae) put in place an energy policy, which calls for a 30 percent reduction in use of fossil fuels and 50 percent increase in energy efficiency by 2020. 

In addition, it sets broad goals of:

1. Provision of affordable and safe electricity to all the households in the main island center by 2015.

2. Electrification of 80% of rural public facilities by 2015.

3. Electrification of 90% of rural households by 2020.

4. Enhance the supply side

Emerald People's Utility District offers incentives to customers installing a qualified solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Systems must be 25 kW or smaller to qualify. Systems must be pre-approved by Emerald PUD for grid interconnection and net metering, must meet the acceptable solar resource requirement, and must be installed by an approved solar contractor. See the program website for further details.

Note: Effective May 16, 2015, Empire began offering this solar rebate to retail customers who installed eligible systems after December 31, 2009, and meet all other program requirements.

Empire District Electric Company (now operating as Liberty Utilities) offers customers rebates for the installing net-metered solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The program is available to all of Empire's retail customers on generally available residential, commercial, and industrial rate schedules. Only systems that become operational after December 31, 2009, are eligible for the rebate.

Note: Public Act 235 of 2023 made several changes to Michigan's distributed generation compensation rules. The aggregate cap for DG capacity will now be 10% of average in-state peak load. Within that 10%, 50% of capacity will be available for projects of more than 20 kW but less than 550 kW. The new individual system size cap is 550 kW, or 110% of a customer's energy consumption. The inflow-outflow methodology remains in effect.
