IADG Energy Bank Revolving Loan Program

The Iowa Economic Development Authority in partnership with the Iowa Area Development Group (IADG) is offering Iowa businesses and industries a low-interest financing option for energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy projects, energy management, and implementation plans. The establishment of the IADG Energy Bank Revolving Loan Fund is intended to provide an ongoing source of low interest financing for the implementation of cost-effective projects that will save energy and money, improve facilities and processes, and enhance job creation and profitability.

Arkansas PACE Program

Note:  In 2010, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), which has authority over mortgage underwriters Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, directed these enterprises against purchasing mortgages of homes with a PACE lien due to its senior status above a mortgage. Most residential PACE activity subsided following this directive; however, some residential PACE programs are now operating with loan loss reserve funds, appropriate disclosures, or other protections meant to address FHFA's concerns. Commercial PACE programs were not directly affected by FHFA’s actions, as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac do not underwrite commercial mortgages. Local Option - Industrial Facilities and Development Bonds

Under the Utah Industrial Facilities and Development Act, counties, municipalities, and state universities in Utah may issue Industrial Revenue Bonds (IRBs) to promote industrial development and manufacturing facilities. In 2013, Utah extended eligible projects to include energy efficiency upgrades and renewable energy systems. Municipalities may issue revenue bonds in order to finance eligible projects. Proceeds from the sale of bonds may be used to pay for or to reimburse the project owner, project user, or a lender for the costs of the project. Dominion Virginia Power - Solar Purchase Program

Note: As the program is approaching its end, Dominion has filed an application with the Commission in 2018 to keep the existing participants on the tariff on a year-to-year basis. The program is now closed to new applicants. 


In March 2013, the Virginia State Corporation Commission approved a rate program for Dominion Virginia Power customers that install solar PV systems. The Home Energy Jumpstart Program is offered in partnership with ComEd. Homeowners can reduce their energy and water use with free installation of these products, available to owners of single-family homes, two-flats, and individually metered condos and townhomes. Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative - SunWatts Rebate Program

Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative is providing rebates to for the purchase of renewable energy systems through its SunWatts program. Photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy systems 10 kilowatts (kW) or less can receive an upfront rebate of $0.05 per watt, up to $500. Solar water heating systems can receive a rebate of $0.50 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of estimated energy savings in the first year.

Sustainable Energy Utility - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

The District of Columbia Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU) offers a variety of rebates to District residents to install energy- efficient equipment in their homes. Incentives are available for a wide range of measures.
