Concord Municipal Light Plant - Solar Photovoltaic Rebate Program

Concord Municipal Light Plant (CMLP) offers rebates to customers who install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that are designed to offset the customer's electrical needs. Systems must be owned by the customer or leased under a leased agreement approved by Concord Light's legal counsel. Systems must be located at the customer's premise. Customers should complete the solar application and sign the terms and conditions. In addition, customers must submit a copy of the installation contract, and CMLP interconnection application. Furthermore, customers must allow CMLP access to the property and system for a rebate verification inspection.

City of Sunset Valley - PV Rebate Program

The City of Sunset Valley offers rebates to local homeowners who install photovoltaic (PV) systems on their properties. The local rebate acts as an add-on to the PV rebates that are offered by Austin Energy to its electric customers.

The Sunset Valley rebate is $1.00 per watt (W) up to 3,000 W. In order to qualify for the Sunset Valley rebate, the system must first qualify for an Austin Energy rebate. In addition, the system installation cost must be $6 per kW or less.

The Sunset Valley rebates are in addition to the Austin Energy rebate of $2.50 per watt

Burlington Electric Department - Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Burlington Electric Department (BED) offers a variety of rebate incentives to its commercial customers. The Commercial Energy Efficiency Program provides significant rebates for, HVAC systems, system controls, lighting upgrades, and refrigeration. Equipment must be purchased and installed in the program year to qualify for rebates. Instant rebates at the time of purchase are available for heat pump water heaters and high-performance circulator pumps. Pre-approval is required for rebates on more than 100 pieces of equipment, buildings exceeding 10,000 square feet, and/or $5,000 or more in rebate payments. Dominion Energy (Gas) - Energy-Efficient Appliance Rebate Program

Dominion Energy offers rebates to customers who purchase energy-efficient natural gas water heaters, furnaces, boilers, or space heaters. The rebate is available only when existing natural gas-fired water heating or heating equipment is replaced with more energy-efficient natural gas-fired equipment.

PSNC Energy (Gas) - Green Building Rate Discount

This discounted rate is available to commercial customers whose building meets the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification or equivalent. To qualify, the customer must be on the Rate 125. Qualifying customers pay a discounted rate per therm less than otherwise applicable Rate 125. For buildings that use equivalent means to qualify, a registered professional engineer’s statement must be provided that states that the building uses no more energy, on a per square foot basis, than a LEED certified building.

Xcel Energy - Home Performance with ENERGY STAR

The Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program pays incentives for existing homes receiving gas and electric service from Xcel to take a whole-house approach to energy savings. Customers must complete all improvements before they are eligible to receive rebates. After a Home Energy Audit, participating contractors install the customer's recommended improvements, collect receipts, and submit rebate paperwork. 

To take advantage of these rebates, you must complete a Home Energy Audit first, and then perform a total of three improvements from the table above. If your auditor recommends attic insulation and bypass sealing or air sealing and weather stripping these specific improvements

Morgan County REA - Efficiency Credit/Rebate Programs

Morgan County REA and Tri-State G&T offers our members Energy Efficiency Credits (rebates) for the installation of qualifying energy efficient electric heating/cooling, electric water heaters, electric motors, electric appliances, and LED light bulbs. Kentucky Power - Targeted Energy Efficiency Program

Kentucky Power offers its residential customers The Targeted Energy Efficiency Program, which provides weatherization and energy efficiency services to qualifying residential customers who need help reducing their energy bills and improving their homes’ safety and comfort. Program services can include:

  • Energy Audit
  • Air infiltration diagnostic test to find air leaks
  • Air leakage sealing
  • Attic, floor, side-wall insulation
  • Duct sealing and insulation
  • High efficiency lighting upgrades
  • Domestic hot water heating insulation
  • Energy efficient doors and windows

Florida Public Utilities (Gas) - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

Florida Public Utilities offers the Energy for Life Conservation Program to its residential natural gas customers to save energy in their homes. Rebates are available for existing residences and new construction. Customers can receive rebates for installing new energy efficient natural gas tankless water heaters, tank water heaters, heating systems, stoves, and clothes dryers. The rebate amount depends on whether the customer is replacing existing natural gas equipment or converting from electric to natural gas. Rebate amounts for new construction differ slightly from those offered to existing homes. Customers should contact FPU for additional information on these offerings.

Florida Public Utilities - Residential HVAC Rebate Program

Florida Public Utilities offers rebates to electric residential customers who improve the efficiency of homes. Central air conditioners and heat pumps which meet program requirements are eligible for up to a $100 rebate from FPU. Units must be 15 SEER or higher in order to be eligible.
