Carbon Power & Light - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Carbon Power and Light, in collaboration with Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, offers financial incentives for members to increase the energy efficiency of homes and facilities. Rebates are available for a variety of energy efficiency measures, including thermal storage, water heaters, clothes washers, dishwashers, lighting, heat pumps, air conditioners, and low income weatherization. All energy efficiency credits will be in the form of a credit applied to the Member-Owner’s account.

Plumas-Sierra REC - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) offers several financial incentives for residential customers to improve the efficiency of their homes by upgrading to energy saving appliances and equipment. PSREC also offers a Plug-in Electric Vehicle rebate for vehicles registered in Plumas, Lassen, Sierra or Washoe County. Visit the program website or contact the utility for more information.

Crow Wing Power - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Crow Wing Power offers several incentives for residential consumers to increase the energy efficiency of homes. Rebates are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and are available for a variety of energy efficiency measures. These technologies include air conditioning tune-ups, air source heat pumps, clothes washers, dehumidifiers, electric dryers, freezers, refrigerators, battery-powered yard equipment, boiler heaters, plenum heaters, central air conditioning, ductless air source heat pumps, electronically commutated motors, geothermal source heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, thermal storage, water heaters, LED light bulbs, and smart thermostats. Priority Permit Processing for Green Buildings

Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) §46-19.6 requires each county agency that issues building, construction, or development-related permits to establish a procedure for priority processing of permit applications for construction projects incorporating energy and environmental design building standards. The priority processing will be provided at no additional cost.

Buildings eligible for priority processing are those that meet the "energy and environmental design building standards". These standards can be achieved by earning either a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver rating, a two Green Globes rating, or a comparable state-approved, nationally recognized, and consensus-based guideline, standard, or system.

Kenergy - Residential Rebate Program

Kenergy is an electric cooperative that serves 51,000 households and commercial customers in 14 western Kentucky counties. Currently, Kenergy offers three rebate programs for residential customers who wish to increase the efficiency of their homes.

Customers can receive rebates for installing Energy Star geothermal, duel fuel, or air source heat pumps or have their existing HVAC unit professionally cleaned and serviced for a rebate. Kenergy also offers a rebate for purchasing an Energy Star clothes washer or refrigerator. The amounts for these rebates are as follows:

  • Air source heat pump: $50
  • Duel fuel heat pump: $200
  • Geothermal heat pump: $200

Walton EMC - HomePlus Loan Program

Walton Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) is an electric cooperative that serves 100,000 customers in ten northeastern Georgia counties.
Walton EMC has partnered with GEMC Federal Credit Union to offer the HomePlus Loan to make energy efficiency upgrades more affordable for residential customers. Customers with good utility payment record, credit application, credit report and property title can receive prime rate financing for the installation of weatherization measures.

Walton EMC - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

Walton Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) is an electric cooperative that serves approximately 100,000 customers in 10 northeastern Georgia counties. Walton EMC provides financial incentives for residential members that wish to improve the energy efficiency of eligible residences. Residents in existing homes that switch from a fossil fuel heating system to an all-electric heat pump, either unitary, geothermal or package, can qualify for a $200 rebate. Sawnee EMC - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Sawnee EMC provides a variety of rebates for residential customers building new energy-efficient homes or making energy efficiency improvements to existing homes.

The Energy Efficiency Existing Home Rebate Program offers rebates for attic insulation upgrades, HVAC tune-ups, hybrid water heaters, appliance recycling, and other incentives. In order to qualify for the rebates, members must first have a free on-site evaluation performed by a Sawnee EMC Energy Service Representative (ESR). Measures recommended by the ESR then qualify for the rebate once they have been completed and inspected.

Habersham EMC - Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Habersham Electric Membership Corporation (HEMC) is an electric cooperative that provides service to 32,000 customers in northeastern Georgia, including Rabun, Habersham, White, Hall, Lumpkin and Stephens counties. Habersham EMC offers a rebate program for homes that meet certain insulation specifications and pass inspection by a Habersham EMC representative.  Touchstone Energy Homes are also eligible for an Energy Conservation rate discount.

Diverse Power - Energy Efficient New Construction Rebate Programs

Diverse Power offers a number of rebates for new homes that meet or exceed national, state, and local building and energy codes and install energy-efficient measures, such as heat pumps, water heaters, and heat recovery systems.
