Mason County PUD 3 encourages customers to use energy efficient products and home equipment by offering incentives for the purchase of qualifying products. The utility offers residential customers rebates for various measures. Incentives for low-income households are also available, matching dollar for dollar for certain measures.
Berkeley Electric Cooperative provides HomeAdvantage Loans to qualifying homeowners for energy efficiency upgrades to residences. Measures typically include air infiltration measures, insulation measures, duct work leakage, air flow improvement and HVAC system upgrades. Loans of up to $20,000 are available through this offering and must produce a reasonable return on investment as determined by Berkeley Electric Cooperative. Typically, measures must produce adequate savings to repay the loan within 6 years. The program web site contains a loan calculator that interested customers can use to determine a projected monthly loan payment.

Duke Energy encourages residential customers to buy energy-efficient homes through the utility's Energy Star Homes Program, which awards a rate discount to customers living in Energy Star homes. Customers receive a discount on per kWh usage after the first 350 kWh per month. To earn the Energy Star label, homes are tested by a third-party inspector to ensure they meet the U.S. Department of Energy's criteria. Generally speaking, a home must be at least 30% more efficient than the national Model Energy Code for homes or 15% more efficient than the state energy code, whichever is more rigorous. The
Southern Pine Electric Power Association offers the Comfort Advantage Home Program which provides incentives for new homes or renovations for greater energy efficiency. Southern Pine Electric Power Association will send a cooperative representative to verify that the home meets the program's standards for energy efficiency. Co-Mo Electric Cooperative provides rebates to its residential and commercial members who install air source, dual fuel, and/or geothermal heat pumps, and certain energy efficient appliances. Heat pumps that receive rebates may be subject to Co-Mo Load Control Programs. The specifications for eligible installations are quite specific; full details are listed in the heat pump rebate application.
The Energy Saving Home Appliance Rebate Program offers rebates on Energy Star window air conditioners, and electric tank water heaters. Additional details can be found in the appliance rebate application located on the program web site.
The Tillamook County Public Utility District (PUD) offers residential customers standard rebates on electric vehicle chargers, ENERGY STAR appliances, heat pump water heaters, programmable thermostats and home weatherization projects.
In addition to the various rebate programs, Tillamook County PUD and the following stores offer a financing program with unsecured, zero-percent interest on ENERGY STAR appliances, on approved credit up to $2,000 for 12 months:
Intercounty Electric Cooperative provides rebates to its customers for the purchase of a variety of energy efficient equipment and appliances. Eligible technologies include: geothermal, air source, and dual fuel heat pumps, electric water heaters, and Energy Star room AC units. Customer must contact Intercounty Electric within 60 days after the equipment is purchased and installed, and must include an original receipt and copy of warranty with applications. Ozark Border Electric Cooperative has made rebates available to residential members for the installation of energy efficient geothermal and air source heat pumps, electric water heaters, and room air conditioners. In order to receive rebates, all equipment must meet the specified energy efficiency program standards.
In order to apply for the rebates, customers must contact one of the Ozark Border Electric local offices and provide them with a copy of the invoice that includes details of the equipment brand, size, and efficiency. Flathead Electric encourages its residential customers to occupy energy efficient homes. Owners and builders of new homes which meet the "Montana Homes" requirements listed on the program web site are eligible for a rebate of $1,500. All application information and home testing must be completed before a rebate may be issued. Further information can be found on the program web site.
In addition to this offer, a $1,200 rebate is payable to Northwest Energy Efficient Manufactured (NEEM) home buyers who site a new electrically heated NEEM home in Flathead Electric service territory. Rebates are payable after the home has been
