Tri-County Electric Cooperative offers a $75 rebate on the purchase of energy-efficient electric water heaters. The rebate is valid for new or replacement units which have an Energy Factor Rating of 0.90 or higher. The minimum tank size is 40 gallons, with a minimum 4,500 watt heating element. Focus on Energy provides information, financial assistance, technical assistance and other services to residents, businesses, schools, institutions and local governments on energy efficiency and renewable energy*. Financial assistance takes the form of rebates, grants and loans. The program was initially created by Act 9 of 1999 as a public benefit fund (PBF), which also provided energy assistance programs for low-income residents (the Home Energy Plus Program). 

Each electric and natural gas investor-owned utility is required to spend 1.2% of the latest 3-year average of its gross operating revenue on energy-efficiency programs and renewable-resource programs. With WPSC approval, a utility

United Cooperative Services offers a one-time rebate program for new home construction and retrofit upgrades. The following equipment/upgrades are eligible under United's Rebate Program:

The Advanced Energy Fund is a public benefit fund administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency. The Advanced Energy Fund is not currently being actively lent. Franklin County PUD's Residential Rebate Program offers rebates for energy efficiency improvements for electrically heated homes located in the Franklin PUD service area. Rebates are currently offered on energy efficient clothes washers and dryers.

Cowlitz County PUD offers various incentives for the installation of energy efficient measures in homes. All measures must be pre-authorized by Cowlitz PUD to be eligible for financial incentives. Clark Public Utilities offers loans of up to $20,000 for heat pumps. Loans will help customers cover the up-front cost of installing a highly efficient heat pump in a residence. All electrically heated homes, including manufactured homes, are eligible for the heat pump financing program. Customers have up to seven years to repay the loan at a 3.5 percent interest rate. The utility charges a $230 loan processing fee for loans under $5,000 or $450 for loans $5,000 or more, which can be paid up front or folded into the loan. Loans of up to $15,000 at a 3.5% interest are available through Clark Public Utilities' Weatherization Loan Program. The loans can pay for the average local cost of eligible measures, based on recently completed projects. Customers have up to seven years to repay the loans, but monthly payments will be at least $25. There is a $230 processing fee for loans under $5,000 and a $450 processing fee for loans $5,000 or more. Customers will be billed monthly for loan payments, separate from energy bills. Marshfield Utilities offers cash-back rewards for Ground Source Heat Pumps, as well as Focus on Energy program incentives. A rebate of $150 will be given to customers who purchase and install qualifying Ground Source Heat Pumps. Systems must meet the equipment standards of the program in order to receive a rebate. Holy Cross Energy, a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, has developed a voluntary carbon reduction strategy designed to slow the growth of carbon dioxide emissions created in the generation of electricity used by consumers. Eligible equipment includes LED lighting, programmable thermostats, heat pumps and insulation. A home energy audit may also be available to participating customers.
