The Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) offers Connexus Energy members discounted rates for loans. These loans offer homeowners the option of financing their purchase instead of applying for rebates afterwards. A variety of energy efficiency improvements, including ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, electric thermal storage, and water heating measures are eligible for loans. Dakota Electric provides low-interest loans to help its residential customers finance projects which will improve the energy efficiency of participating homes. Two loans are offered. One is for 0% APR for a maximum loan of $7,500 and term of 6-60 months. The other is for 2.99% APR for a maximum loan of $25,000 and a term of 61-120 months. Under the Net Zero residential construction program, the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development offers loans for builders, developers and homeowners to construct of rehabilitate residential buildings to energy efficient standards.

Net Zero homes features may include advanced energy efficient design and technology and renewable energy resources. Proceeds may be used for acquisition of a project, construction and development costs, and closing costs. The program requires applicants to obtain a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) score of 50 or lower.

The City of Aspen offers a variety of incentives to its commercial customers to encourage the use of energy efficient products. Rebates are available for water heaters, low flow fixtures, toilets, solar photovoltaics, geothermal heat pumps, and custom projects.

Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association (PVREA), a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, offers a variety of lighting rebates to commercial and residential customers. Rebates are available on appliances, heating & cooling, residential LED lighting, outdoor power equipment, EVs, programmable thermostats, commercial & industrial motors, motor VFDs, commercial LED lighting, as well as income-qualified projects.

16 Rural Kentucky Electric Cooperatives participate in the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives program. These cooperatives participate in multiple programs that offer savings and rebates to customers. Most cooperatives offer heat pump rebates, weatherization rebates, a thermostat participation program, participation in the Energy Star Manufactured Home program, and the Community Assistance Resources for Energy Savings (CARES) program which provides an incentive to enhance the weatherization and energy efficiency services provided to the end-use members by the Kentucky Community Action Agencies (CAA) network. Blue Grass Energy provides a variety of rebates to its residential customers for increasing their energy efficiency. This includes the Heat Pump Retrofit Program, the Button-Up Weatherization Program, and the ENERGY STAR Manufactured Home Program. Additionally, BGE provides the SimpleSaver program, which gives rebates to customers who reduce their use of air conditioners during peak times. BGE also provides the Community Assistance Resources for Energy Savings (CARES) program, which provides an incentive of up to $2,000 to households for weatherization and energy efficiency measures through their local Kentucky Community Action Agencies (CAA) network.
