City of Philadelphia - Streamlined Solar Permitting and Fee Reduction

Photovoltaic systems of 10 kW or less installed on 1- or 2-family residential units are eligible for streamlined permitting and a fee reduction. PV projects can use a combined electrical and building permit (an "EZ Permit") instead of filling out two separate permits if the project meets certain installation and electrical requirements (as outlined on the combined permit form).

Certain installations are prohibited:

  • On engineered roof trusses, except when the applicant provides a letter from a professional engineer stating that the roof has been inspected and the proposed solar system has been evaluated and will not negatively impact

MMPA - Residential Energy Efficiency Program

Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (MMPA) serves 12 member communities in Minnesota. Through these communities, MMPA offers rebates to residential customers for upgrading certain household equipment. Rebates are available for central air conditioners and air source heat pumps, mini-split ductless heat pumps, ECMs, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers, and LED bulbs and fixtures. MidAmerican Energy (Gas) - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

MidAmerican Energy offers a variety of incentives for residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of homes. Eligible customers are eligible for rebates on furnaces, furnace fan motors, boilers, water heaters, air conditioners, air-source heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps and insulation. City of Houston - Property Tax Abatement for Green Commercial Buildings
