City of Phoenix - Renewable Energy Goal

In 2008, the Phoenix City Council approved a renewable energy goal for the city. The city aims for 15% of the electricity used by the city to come from renewable energy sources by 2025. This goal mirrors Arizona's Renewable Energy Standard of 15% of electricity from renewable energy by 2025. Anne Arundel County - High Performance Dwelling Property Tax Credit

The state of Maryland permits local governments (Md Code: Property Tax § 9-242) to offer property tax credits for high performance buildings if they choose to do so. In October 2010 Anne Arundel exercised this option by enacting legislation (County Bill 78-10) providing a property tax credit for high performance dwellings built on or after July 1, 2010 that meet or exceed USGBC LEED Silver standards. Norwich Public Utilities (Gas) - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) provides residential natural gas customers rebates for upgrading to energy-efficient equipment in eligible homes. NPU offers rebates of between $250 - $3000 for natural gas furnaces, boilers, and water heaters which are installed in single-family or two-family homes. Liberty Utilities Iowa High Efficiency Equipment Rebate

Liberty Utilities offers a rebate to its Iowa residential and small business customers for the purchase of high efficiency ENERGY STAR natural gas home heating equipment and water heating equipment, as well as programmable thermostats. Equipment must be installed by qualified dealers; no homeowner installation is allowed. Interested customers should mail the Iowa High-Efficiency Rebate Installation and Verification Form to the address provided on the website; do not send the form with the Liberty Utilities monthly bill payment.

Town of Carrboro - Worthwhile Investments Save Energy (WISE) Homes and Buildings Program

The Town of Carrboro is providing loans to Carrboro businesses and non-profits with fewer than 50 employees to increase their energy efficiency. The current interest rate is 3% and the maximum loan term is 10 years. The minimum loan amount is $1500. Loan applicants must give the town their previous 12 utility bills, and must agree to continue submitting their utility bills for 3 years after the work is complete so the town can measure the performance of the retrofits and the success of their program.

NYSERDA - Residential Financing Options

NYSERDA offers a suite of loans under the Green Jobs-Green New York (GJGNY) Program to help New York State residents finance energy efficiency improvements, and renewable energy systems. Eligible projects include the purchase and installation of solar photovoltaic systems, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, and energy efficiency improvements. Prior to accessing a NYSERDA loan, homeowners must have an energy assessment or audit that identifies energy services to be undertaken.

Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant - Residential Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program

Residential customers of Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant (TMLP) are eligible for rebates on energy efficient appliances. Clothes washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, heat pumps, and room A/C units are eligible for these incentives, which range from $25 - $100. All equipment must be Energy Star certified to qualify. Santee Cooper - Residential Energy Efficiency Existing Homes Rebate Program

Santee Cooper provides rebates to residential and multi-family residential customers. Rebates are available on  air source heat pumps, solar water heaters, weatherization measures, programmable thermostats, duct sealing, and water heaters. Rebates require that recipients live in a single-family, all electric home. Existing Home incentives are determined by specified standards and must be verified with Santee Cooper.
