Home Performance with Energy Star (Existing Residential)

Efficiency Vermont works with homeowners on comprehensive energy efficiency projects and offers several incentives. Single-family homes, as well as multifamily properties with up to five units, are eligible. The first step for individual homeowners is to contact Efficiency Vermont or select a certified Home Performance with Energy Star contractor. A list of certified contractors is available on the Efficiency Vermont website. The contractor will conduct and review the energy audit.

Delta-Montrose Electric Association - Residential Weatherization Rebate Program

Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) has partnered with Housing Resources of Western Colorado to offer a free home weatherization service to its residential customers. Eligible members will get a free comprehensive energy audit to determine what areas need improvement. Weatherization improvements include insulation, appliance replacements, lighting upgrades, furnace replacements, duct sealing, and others.

Lake Region Electric Cooperative - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) offers rebates for residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of homes. Rebates are available for air-source heat pumps and central air conditioning units, as well as water heating, electric thermal storage, and electric vehicle chargers. The program website contains all necessary rebate forms. The rebate application forms and a copy of the invoice/receipt must be submitted to the utility in order to receive rebates. SMECO - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative's (SMECO) Residential Energy Efficiency Program helps residential customers save energy and money by providing rebates for energy efficient appliances. Eligible measures include lighting, water heating, central heating and cooling, and recycling of select appliances. Some rebates vary by size and type of measure employed. La Plata Electric Association - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) offers a variety of rebates for its residential members to improve the efficiency of their homes. Rebates are available for a variety of Energy Star appliances, the recycling of a refrigerator or freezer, electric water heaters, HVAC equipment, LED light bulbs and more.

Customers have 90 days from date of purchase to apply for the rebate. Rebates will be credited to LPEA customers’ electric bills within the following billing cycle.

Renewable Energy Business Tax Incentives

Note: H.B. 2528, enacted in May 2017, repeals these tax incentives beginning in 2018.

S.B. 1403, signed in July of 2009, created tax incentives intended to draw renewable energy product manufacturers to Arizona. Specifically, income tax credits and property tax incentives are available for companies choosing to establish or expand their manufacturing facilities and corporate headquarters in Arizona.
