LaGrange County REMC - Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

LaGrange County REMC, in conjunction with the Wabash Valley Power Association's Power Moves program, offers a variety of rebates for the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment. For residential customers, LaGrange County REMC offers rebates to residential customers who purchase heat pumps, heat pump water heaters and efficient lighting.  Heat pump incentive amounts vary by size and efficiency, as well as by the system being replaced. LaGrange REMC also provides a $35 rebate for the proper recycling of an older refrigerator unit. Alternative Energy Development Incentive (Corporate)

The Alternative Energy Development Incentive (AEDI) is a post-performance non-refundable tax credit for 75% of new state tax revenues (including, state, corporate, sales, and withholding taxes) over the life of the project or 20 years, whichever is less. Duke Energy Progress - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Progress Energy provides incentives for residential customers to increase home energy efficiency. Rebates are provided for certain heating and cooling products, duct sealing and repairs, air sealing and insulation, and heat pump water heaters. To qualify, the equipment must meet the efficiency requirements outlined on the program website. Customers also must use a contractor approved by Progress Energy to participate in the program. Customers must submit an application form, including equipment cut sheets and original contractor invoice, within 60 days of completion of the work.
