Alexandria Light and Power - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Alexandria Light and Power (ALP) offers residential customers several rebate programs, including Energy Star Appliance rebates, Residential Central AC or Heat Pump Rebates, and Water Heater rebates. Eligible equipment includes:

  • Clothes washers 
  • Dishwashers 
  • Dehumidifiers 
  • Room Air Conditioners 
  • Water Heaters 
  • Central AC
  • Geothermal Heat Pumps
  •  LED lighting
All equipment must be installed within Alexandria Light and Power’s service territory and a copy of the original dated sales receipt must be included with any application. More information on these rebate opportunities and rebate application forms are located on the program's web site.

Shrewsbury Electric - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

In collaboration with MMWEC and NextZero, Shrewsbury Electric offers rebates on ENERGY STAR appliances. Eligible products include washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, room air conditioners, air sealing, and smart thermostats. Customers will need to fill out an appliance mail-in rebate form that can be obtained at the Town Hall or on the Town of Shrewsbury web site. Information will be required including the customer's Electric Company account number, equipment brand with serial number, and a copy of the sales receipt. Turlock Irrigation District - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Turlock Irrigation District (TID) offers a residential rebate program for customers who install energy-efficient equipment in eligible homes. Rebates are available for

  • Smart Thermostats
  • Pool Pumps
  • Shade Trees
  • New Construction

Truckee Donner Public Utility District - Energy Conservation Rebate Program

Truckee Donner Public Utility District (TDPUD) offers incentives for customers to improve the energy efficiency of homes and businesses. Participants must be a TDPUD electric customer (and water customer for incentives for clothes washers) to participate. Qualifying equipment for this rebate include light bulbs, refrigerator, windows, dishwashers, electric vehicle chargers and more. Silicon Valley Power - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Silicon Valley Power offers rebates to residential customers for the purchase of a variety of energy efficient products. To qualify for these programs, residents must live in the City of Santa Clara, receive electricity from Silicon Valley Power, and make purchases from participating retailers. Program guidelines and applications can be found on the program web site listed above.

SMUD - Residential Energy Efficiency Loan Program

Sacramento Municipal Utility District offers financing to help residential customers finance energy efficient home improvements. Applicant for a loan must be the vested owner of the property where the product(s) are to be installed.

SMUD offers two separate loan programs: an Equipment Efficiency Loan and a Home Performance Loan.

Equipment Efficiency Loan

Presently, SMUD offers financing at an interest rate of 6.99% for secured loans or 10.75% for unsecured loans. Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) offers a wide array of incentives for its commercial customers to increase the energy efficiency of their facilities. SMUD offers four different rebate programs to accomplish this goal.
