Unitil (Electric) - Residential Energy Efficiency Programs

Unitil offers New Hampshire residential customers a number of programs to encourage more energy efficient homes. Forms and details for each program are available on the website listed above.

The Energy Star Appliance Program provides rebates for swimming pool pumps, clothes dryers, clothes washers, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, room air purifiers, and room air conditioners.

The Energy Star Heating and Cooling Program offers rebates for central air conditioners, heat pumps, mini split systems, and heat pump water heaters. Rebates are also available for wi-fi thermostats accompanying a qualifying heat pump.

Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

As part of its Residential rebate program, Hawaii Energy provides rebates to residences for heat pump water heaters, central air conditioning system tune-ups, refrigerator trade-ups, ceiling fans, CFL light bulbs and other improvements. These rebates are available to residential electric utility ratepayers on Hawaii Island, Lanai, Maui, Molokai and Oahu only. In order to be eligible for this rebate, residents must live in their homes year round and purchase a program approved piece of equipment. Tampa Electric - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Tampa Electric provides a variety of financial incentives to promote energy efficiency in the residential sector. The Ductwork Rebate Program gives Tampa Electric customers the opportunity to have a trained professional appraise a home's duct system for accessibility and repair needs, seal any leaks, and help minimize future leaks for only $80.

Tampa Electric also offers a free energy audit to identify areas where homeowners could save energy and money. Another energy-saving measure offered by Tampa Electric is the Energy Planner, which allows customers to program their thermostats and appliances remotely. This is a free program as well.

Vermont Gas - Residential Energy Efficiency Loan Program

Partnering with Green Mountain Credit Union, Vermont Gas offers special financing for loan amounts up to $20,000 for 1-5 year terms. Longer term loans are available but annual percentage rate (APR) and other terms may vary. Vermont Gas offers two rates for loans. Loans for weatherization projects come with a 0% interest rate, while weatherization loans that include heat pumps come with a 3.99% interest rate.

NEW for 2023: With the rising prices of efficient equipment, we’ve increased our rebate levels and added a bonus incentive for income-eligible households. Please note these rebate amounts are guaranteed for equipment installed by 8/31/2023 and may be subject to change for the remainder of the year.

Vermont Gas offers rebates for residential customers who replace existing heating equipment or water heaters with more energy efficient ones. Rebates vary depending on technology. Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department - Residential Conservation Services Program

The Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department (WMGLD), offers the "Incentive Rebate Program" to encourage residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. All home energy efficiency incentive rebates require an audit through the NextZero program before any work is done and requires a post-installation inspection. There is a maximum rebate of $1,500 for energy efficiency improvements approved by a NextZero audit per qualifying customer per year. Eligible upgrades include various forms of insulation, weather stripping, and window and door replacement. This incentive is available to the customer once every 12 months. Holyoke Gas & Electric - Commercial Energy Conservation Loan Program

Holyoke Gas & Electric's Commercial Energy Conservation Program offers zero interest loans to its commercial customers who are making energy efficiency improvements to facilities. The applicant must obtain cost estimates from contractors before turning in the application. The payback period of the loan is flexible depending on the amount of assistance requested, but cannot exceed five years. Monthly payments are included on the customer's electric bill. All assistance requests greater than $10,000 require approval by the Holyoke Gas & Electric Commission.

Holyoke Gas & Electric - Residential Energy Conservation Loan Program

HG&E’s Residential Energy Conservation Program (RECP) provides financial assistance at 0% interest for the implementation of qualifying energy efficiency and electrification projects.  Financial assistance is repayable over a period of up to five years and repayment charges are conveniently placed on your HG&E monthly bill.  Note: A one-time processing fee of $100 applies.

Energy Loan Fund for Schools

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce has established a loan/lease fund for public and non-profit K-12 schools to improve energy efficiency.

Two categories of funding are available for schools to reduce energy consumption. Category I funding will pay for technical and energy audits, the development of Energy Management Plans, and any professional services that contribute to the planning and design of energy reduction systems and measures. Category II funding covers the actual acquisition and installation of energy conservation measures.

Community Energy Education Management Program

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce offers a revolving loan fund for local governments to make energy efficient improvements to government buildings. All eligible projects should increase energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, project a positive return on investment and be paid back within 6 years of the loan award. Funds from this program can be used to pay for a technical assistance report/audit, energy conservation measures, and operation and maintenance procedures that would contribute to overall reduced energy consumption.

An eligible local government may have only one active loan open at any time.
